At 9 years old I went on my first diet. That started a binge and restrict cycle that lasted most of my life. Bad skin, no energy, debilitating periods, and a body that was constantly at war with me.
The worst part was what it did to my confidence. I stopped showing up, in my career, my relationships, my own life, because I hated how I looked.
I hit rock bottom and hired a coach. It changed everything. I learned to train and nourish my body instead of punishing it. I went from not lifting an empty barbell to winning my first powerlifting competition, and for the first time, I felt connected to my body instead of at war with it.
What surprised me was my mindset changing too. Better boundaries. Real confidence. Showing up for myself because I was falling in love with who I was becoming.
Now I help other women do the same. Not just training and meal plans, but real understanding of your body and your mind, whatever season you are in.
Life is too short to not feel at home in your own body.
